We made it to Texas!!!

We made it! Two days in the car we made it to Katy. Then, Mark decided since we had the truck we should go down to Corpus to pick up some things from my mom's house so we did that yesterday. I think we were all happy to turn in the truck today! ;) The house is great and we are getting settled. Thinks to Grandma (Mark's mom) you can eat on almost every surface in the house! Avery did great on the drive and we now think she is teething. My mom made the suggestion yesterday because her hands were in her mouth, which they always are but today she will chew on anything you put in it (including sweet potatoes from our dinner). She even took an ounce of formula from the bottle so we know something is up. I think tomorrow we are going to try cereal with her and take advantage of the fact that she will stick anything in her mouth! I will post some pictures tomorrow from her 4 month photo shoot from last week! Hook 'em!

Just because I haven't posted doesn't mean I haven't taken any pictures! :) Here are some pictures from the past week! We have been really busy trying to see everyone here in Denver and go a little packing. Avery can grab both of her feet now but she only does it without pants on. She also loves the "saucer" and stinking her tongue out when she is working hard with her toys! Today we went to the botanical gardens with Aunt Toby, Grandpa, and Paul. Enjoy the pictures!

Weekend with the Buchanan Family

We went to Wray this weekend to hang out the Buchanan's! We had a great time and they were all so great with Avery. Safe to say she was never starved for attention! I loved watching them all play with her. They also did a great job wearing her out! We got home this afternoon, gave her a bath and put her down for a nap at 6:45pm...we have yet to hear a peep out of her! We need them around more often! :) Here are some pictures I took this weekend. I only got one photo of Karin and Doug but atleast I got that...enjoy!

Avery's 1st SNOW!

Okay...so I know I already posted once today but these are too cute!!! I had her in the "saucer" this afternoon and told her to "say cheese"! I literally have about 25 pictures of her with her mouth open and smiling! Then right after I changed her outfit we went to turn on some music and looked out the window and it was snowing!!! So, of course I put on her "winter wear" that is for a 6 month old and threw on a sweater (and grabbed my camera of course) and ran outside! I had to put her in the car seat which was a little difficult. She just kept closing her eyes because the snow was falling on her. Then when we were taking pictures in her car seat Daddy came home...perfect timing!!! Her are some pictures! I obviously wasn't planning on being in the photo otherwise I might have combed my hair today! LOL! But, who can resist a picture with the sweet pea! Enjoy!

Say cheese!

Before Mark came home - you can see the outfit is swallowing her!
Daddy's home!

Staring in amazement!
