The tree is up!

Decorating for Christmas has a whole new meaning. I have always loved to decorate but now when we buy things I think about all of the new traditions we will start making while remembering past ones. We put up our first normal sized Christmas tree last night! It's a whopping 9 feet - I love it! Avery just wanted to eat ornaments. Today we put her in her saucer to play and usually if the tv is on she faces that way but today she just wanted to look at the tree. I love watching her stare in amazement at all of the lights.

Our house all ready!!!

We decorate the outside patio while we were at it

Our stockings are up that are all handmade by Grandma Gaye
Eating the ornaments
Helping put them on the tree
Of course we picked the hot pink bow
Well, I was trying to show the village Mark put together under the tree. As you can see there is football on and Avery would rather watch than look at the camera.
Glitter everywhere!

PS...the first picture really isn't our house it's one down the street! :)

Thanksgiving Day Pictures!

I thought they looked sweet! I have to crop it!
I uploaded the photos and I liked this one even though Avery is looking a little away!
before we cooked them
My little helper says "what are these?"
Hmm...they don't look so bad!
I was taking them out of the oven and she managed to scoot down. About 3 seconds after I took this her bottom was on the floor!
After!

She was a good sport! :)

Gobble til you Wobble!

First of all, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! We spent the day with some of my cousins and Avery loved the sweet potatoes! I know it has been TOO long since I posted pictures. Our computer is on overload and ran out of space and then the internet went down and we hadn't found time to get it running again. But alas we are back in business. The first couple of pictures were taken by our cousins, Katie and Timmy Drumm! They started a graphic design company, TKD graphics (www.tkdgraphics.com) and I asked if they would mind snapping a couple of photos so we could make a family Christmas card. (Katie was also the one who did Avery's cute announcement!) They were more than happy to do it and they turned out great!!! Last week I went down to Corpus with my Uncle and Avery to clean out my room at my mom's house. She decided it was time for those mum's to go. But more importantly, Avery turned 5 months old last Sunday. Below are the pictures from her "5 month shoot"! I still have more pictures to upload but I have to find the cable to move over some others. Turns out when you take 1,000 pictures a day your computer runs out of space! ;) Hope you all are doing well and enjoy the pics!

We have a great park about 3 minutes away!

I mean any who can capture that adorable face is amazing!

My favorite!!!

Still loving the cereal!

She was such a good sport while I put on her Christmas gear. Still working on a card!

I was cooking dinner and looking over to this - what could be sweeter?

Her blankie Great Aunt Wendy knitted!

Happy 5 months old!

Did I mention she was a thumb sucker?
She would have eaten all the grass if I would have let her!
The start of a roll over
Gotta get that hand out
She made it!
