She's talking?

Well, most pictures this week either have her hands in her mouth or her smiling at her "lightening bug" on her jungle gym. And if you can't tell how much she likes it from the photos I've posted a video. Whenever it plays music she starts to "talk". If only she could shake the bug herself...someday! :) She is sitting with me while I upload pictures so we also decided to take some with the mac photo booth. I also found a couple of old ones that I've included. She was just so little and is getting big so fast!

She bounced back!

Well, she survived her first fever...or maybe I should say I survived her first fever! She was cranky and sleepy until about 11:30pm and then woke up smiling like her regular self! She would only sleep on my chest and then I finally got her to sleep in her swing so I made a place on the floor in her room. But, luckily we slept in our room and I didn't have to sleep on the floor! :) Here are some pictures from yesterday and this morning. She has really started to eat her hands a lot and stick her tongue out! :)

2 month check up!

We went to Avery's 2 month well-child check up today and she did great. She got all of recommended vaccines and handled it better than we thought she would. She took the oral one without a beep and cried for about 30 seconds with the shots. Luckily, they combine 3 of the shots into one so she only had 2 pokes for 4 vaccines! She also is growing like she should. She now weighs 10 lbs (25%) and is 22.75 inches longs (75%), her head circumference is 15 and 1/8 inches (40%) and blood pressure 94. :) I think this is exactly where she was percentage wise as her 2 week check up so she is right on schedule!!! I would love to post some pictures but she has been sleeping since we brought her home from the doctor at 12:00pm! I'm guessing the vaccine is making her tired so while I would normally wake her up I'm just letting her sleep. I'm sure I will pay for it tonight but I just can't wake her up! Mark leaves tonight for Fort Worth so we will miss him this week but I am SO thankful he said in town today to go to the doctor with me! 

2 months

We can't believe our little girl is 2 months old already! Unfortunately we didn't get too many pictures today because we were out the whole day. But, I managed to take a couple! Here are pictures from the last couple of days!

Her new thing is to watch the tv...she loves it if you can't tell. She turns herself all the way around until she can see it!
