we went to our first astros game this weekend! i married mark because i loved him. and if for some reason we weren't able to have children i was okay spending the rest of my life with him. thankfully we have been blessed. mark is a wonderful dad and watching him with avery makes my heart happy! through all the screaming and temper tantums and us losing our cool there are always little reminders of why this is all worth it.

as we are walking into the game, getting our bags searched, we approach the doors. mark stops and says to avery that he has to carry his first child into her very first ballpark. i teared up. it was one of those moments that i will remember forever and i know he will too. i just love them both so much!

other highlights from the evening:

- watching avery pull out the wipes and start wiping herself

- eating ice cream with mark out of their helmet

- clapping whenever a play was made which was usually for the other team

- finally, avery standing in front of me staring at this couple making out in front of us. you really had to laugh since she was about 4 inches from them. :)

and pictures. i promise she didn't just sit and eat sugar the whole time but something about a girl with her sunglasses and sweets makes me want to snap away!
