who says stay-at-home mom's can't do it all?

this post is long, and backwards!

i made it back safe and sound from my work trip. i'm pretty sure avery didn't know what to think when she saw me. i was hoping for a reaction which included a big smile, instead it was a face like she just pooped her pants (except she didn't). regardless, she was happy to see me (i think)! i also think (hope) grandma gaye and avery had a fun week. mark picked me up from the airport and not only did i come to avery BUT aunt allison was here too! our frequent visits will be coming to an end soon because she's off to become a big time movie producer in la! but, before leaving we put her to work! just kidding :) we made huge steps in making avery's playroom more like a kids playroom. i wish i had a before picture but i don't. in honor of doing a little work with numbers i've decided to put my day(s) into numbers.

in order to get the playroom where it is today it took...

- 3 gallons of paint
- 4 trips to home depot
- 2 trips to ikea
- 1 aunt allison
- 1 grandma gaye

i also have pictures frames i am going to use and put a wall collage on the left side...if only i could make a decision on which pictures i want to use. :)

avery and i are off to kerrville tomorrow and then headed to sea world on wednesday! i'll be working in between the driving and the napping! to get ready to leave, AGAIN, it only took...

- 6 loads of laundry
- 1 load of dishes
- 2 episodes of yo gabba gabba
- 2 trips to the store (target and kroger)
- 2 poop and 3 pee diapers

we'll leave right after i start packing and we go to gymnastics!

daddy brought home donuts for us on sunday morning. avery is one lucky girl! :)

last but not least, mark and i had a great time in san diego! the trip was busy and short but it was nice to get away. we only took a couple of self-timer pictures! we walked along the beach saturday morning, it was really overcast and cloudy. i took this picture on the beach. i left an empty space on purpose.

the only thing missing was our sweet pea.
