this weekend we went down to corpus for aunt allison's surprise going away party!!! she was surprised which means it was a success! we took a picture (posted below) before we left and i packed up the camera and left it! we went down for allison and i got no pictures of her! but, regardless it was a great weekend and we always love every minute we get to spend with her. the next time we see her we'll probably be in LA! :)

on another note, we are going on vacation THIS week. thursday to be exact. we have been planning this for awhile now! i know we will miss the sweet pea but for now we am really excited. with avery's skin and rash we have to avoid sunlight and the heat. well, in texas that pretty much means i have to be indoors all.the.time. i love being outside and am SO looking forward to spending more than 5 minutes out in the sun! not to mention sleeping in!!! i think every night i tell mark how many more days until we get to sleep in. i know i'm probably kidding myself and will wake up but i'm pretty sure if i try really hard i can go back to sleep. and last but not least, probably the most important, i'm looking forward to hanging out with mark, just the two of us. i love avery more than anything and i put all of my energy and time into avery during the day. so, naturally when she goes to bed we are both ready to do what we want to do. and sometimes it's not always the same things, which is normal. so, i'm looking forward to just spending some quality time alone with mark. i'm a huge planner so i've done my best to not plan anything. although, i'm sure once we get there i will have our week planned out before you know it! :) they have zip lining close so i know that will be on the agenda! i can't wait!
