three months

my willie-

you couldn't be any more lovable! you are full of smiles and love to coo and say "ah goo". i get the best smiles out of you and they melt me. you think your hands are pretty awesome and like to suck on them. you are a big fan of being held. but, i'm also a big fan of holding you. you don't love the bath like you used to. if the car isn't moving you are screaming. you are just like your sister. but, you're the third kid so i hate to break it to you but it's your life. you sleep pretty well and wake up once or twice a night. i think you are around sixteen pounds. i can't believe how fast the past three months have gone. i'm just not ready for you to grow up. this month is such a busy time for me but i always get my cuddles in and you take your little cat naps on me. you are so special. such a sweet little baby with your own personality. i couldn't love you more! 

it's friday!

blake has learned how to take pictures. he's so cute and lines up his country bears. yes, mimi, we still love them! :)

my happy place.

i've said it before but i am a sucker for tradition when it comes to these kids and taking photos. i love comparing pictures from one year to the next. this is my happy place. my husband plays along for ten minutes but i think it feels like hours to him. i always have to tell him he will thank me one day when they are grown and gone. the kids always have a great time and it i have just as much photographing them and enjoying it with them! b was finally old enough to enjoy it this year and i have never seen him so excited as he was this afternoon! it was so fun to see his excitement! 

and for fun 2012.

halloween parade.

the day of halloween there was a school parade. it seemed like the worst day to have to get the kids dressed and ready for school and one in a costume. it was pouring rain and the parking lot was filled. i never leave the house late and of course i was late bc i couldn't find blake's halloween shirt. i mean, i bought a shirt and today was the day to wear it! we didn't find the shirt and left for school. my mil was my saving grace that day and sat in the car with little will while i ran into school and got the big kids settled. we took our spot and waited for the kids to come by. thoughts running through my mind thinking what would i do if the baby started crying? how would i get pictures of her? i can't miss documenting the 30 seconds she comes by. this is my JOB! her class was coming by. i saw her as she was looking around at all the people. she wasn't even paying attention as she got her treat. 

then i called her name. her face lit up. words can't begin to describe my feelings. but, they are happy. 

yep, she's all mine! :)

poor daddy got stuck but made it while she was still in her costume! happy avery! :)


that costume was hand made by her gigi, who was looking after baby will while we got to go into her classroom and help her change. that night i asked her about the parade. she said how she was looking and looking at all the mommies and daddies and didn't see me. and then, she saw me. i am so blessed to get to come to her "big events". to a four year old this day was a big one for her. what a blessed little girl to have so many people come just to see her! so happy to be a part of it!

of course before we left i had to go take a peak of b's class. :)
