disneyland!

we took our sweet, big girl to california last weekend to see aunt allison (and phillip!)

i have a million pictures so i'll spread out the posts.

here is our first full day at disney! 

both flights were great! mommy + daddy both did a little napping even though she didn't sleep! :)

we had a casual dinner the first night. she was pretty smitten to have allison all to herself. what kind of aunt gives a kid that drink? ;)

**i kid. it was root beer!

we spent friday at disney land! her first ride was the mater tractors. i think we were all a little overwhelmed when we got there and really didn't know where to start. but as you can tell by her face she had no trouble after the first ride started!

we ate lunch at ariel's grotto. where of course all the princesses happened to be. they came around to all the tables so avery got to meet everyone!

first up was ariel. since it was her restaurant after all!

she would get so excited waiting for them to come to our table. we were the last on our row and before they would come to us they would cut over to the table across from us. avery would practically be out of her seat thinking she was next.

then it was off to the rides! after our big meal we went for a nice air conditioned slow ride and decided we hadn't seen enough of ariel.

avery had her first driving experience. i was all ready to go when we decided bumper cars probably wasn't the safest choice for a pregnant person! :)

then it was back to the rides!

we did a lot of waiting in line.

we watched the fireworks from the parking garage.

we had such a great time and it was so fun having one on one time with our sweet girl! it was a very princess filled day and we all loved it!
