i've always heard the saying, the days are long but the years are short. referring to parenting of course. i get it now. it took almost 3 years but i feel like the past 8 months have been the fastest 8 months in my life. in counting the months and watching blake grow and making sure i take him to his appointments my little girl is almost 3! i feel like we just celebrated her 2nd birthday. it's hard to grasp. because yes, to that first part, some days are sooo long. and all i can think about is bed time. but in these longs days the months and years go by. i am sooo thankful for all of the pictures i have taken. because in my sleep deprived world of trying to be a mom and run a business my kids keep getting bigger. and sometimes when i can't remember avery being blake's age i know she was. and i have these pictures to look back at and remember when she was this small. and when she didn't have teeth. so, if by some chance someone other than mom and mother-in-law is reading this go out and take some pictures of your own kids. and take pictures of yourself. and your spouse. i know i say this and i don't mean run out and hire a professional. grab whatever camera you have and take pictures. and print them to enjoy! because before you know it you'll be getting your first grey hair and still think of yourself as young as a high schooler! not that i found a grey hair or anything! ;)
so here he is. my little man. in his crib. still 7 months. for just a couple more days.
he has the chubbiest little knees!
how do you entertain a 7 month old?
and we'd had some playdates lately and blake actually has a "friend"! :) you know, they play like babies play. blake likes to pull hair!
