we made it home from our first road trip as a family! we drove all the way to denver/vail and back! the kids surpassed all expectations i had for the trip. i was fully expecting atleast some crying! but, i was wrong. i guess the kids wanted to prove me wrong! i took a few pictures and they will come very soon! so just a few from allison's wedding since i can't make a post without pictures! :)

i've neglected the blog. again. *sigh* every one else's pictures have been coming before my own. BUT, next week i'm taking the week off and will be shooting them so don't worry! :) it was raining all last week, everyday. avery had a blast running in the rain! she is still loving dance class but she'd rather just play on the gymnastics equipment. avery is still working on learning her letters and we've found this awesome ipad app called into the letters by montessori! blake is eating much better and has said "yes" and "up" this past week and got his first black eye. :( he also turned 11 months this week so we are officially on the countdown to one. i plan on spending some time this next week planning his birthday bash and his one year photo shoot!

i have been looking for new places to take photos now that my schedule in october is booking up! i wanted somewhere different and have done some driving. i convinced mark to let us drive by. of course after getting out of the car he was bitten by mosquitos and returned to the car. so i did my best with the little time i had and the two kids.

mark did snap a picture of blake and i. although clearly i was not planning on having my picture taken! :) but look at that smile. who really cares what i look like!

my littlest helper! birthday photos will come. eventually. i've had lots of babies born this week! :)
