it's only wednesday, really? ugh! it's been a long week already. but, on the upside grandpa comes into town tomorrow and is spending the weekend with us! hooray! i got this onesie for avery and i thought it was just hilarious, only i think the joke was on me. it says "ipood", like ipod...get it? funny i know. well, we went to the grocery and then i put her straight in her high chair and when i went to grab her out i noticed something on arm (i'll spare you the details). so i change her wash her and then tonight i go to get the paper towels out of the car to clean the countertops and there is a sock at the bottom of the carseat covered in you know what. irony again that i was getting paper towels? gross i know. did i mention she pooped on the carpet monday night and that mark has a stomach bug? i think the word of the week is craptastic for me! these pictures make me laugh now and i appreciate the shirt and find the humor in it even more! back to laundry/cleaning...enjoy!

ok this is semi embarrassing but i was going through our computer and found this video. i think it is from november. i know what you are thinking but come on...it's funny right?

we had a fun weekend! the weather was great and we were able to get out and enjoy it. we went to an easter egg hunt with our small group from church. of course we put puffs in avery's eggs! :) rachel sent avery this cute outfit she's wearing...it was perfect! we're also in the process of planning avery's 1st birthday. i realize it's still a couple of months away but i'm so excited. we have decided on cupcakes instead of a cake so we went to the local bakery today and picked up a couple to test out the flavors. they were so yummy but i think for avery we will go with the white cake with white frosting. i realized about 2 seconds after i gave her a chocolate cupcake that it was going to bad idea. she loved until and then got full!

as promised

last week was spring break and my recently married cousin, lauren, came down to katy! we also went to the zoo and aunt allison came in town! this weekend was also great in new orleans! we had a great time and it was nice to see everyone! i also forgot to share that avery has her first tooth!!! it just broke the skin so it's super small and you can barely see it but it's there! she already used it once so i hope she doesn't make that a habit otherwise we'll be switching to whole milk sooner than later! ;)

9 months old

happy 9 months old to my sweet pea! i can't believe how fast time goes. she's growing...but not very fast! here are the stats:

weight: 15 lbs 7 and 3/4 oz. - 4%

height: 26 inches - 9%

head: 17 - 27%

she got her last hep b shot and they took her blood. if she isn't anemic then she can have whole milk. i'm still not sure i'm ready for that but i guess we'll see! i need to get some pictures uploaded but i'll work on those later and get them up.

tomorrow is the big day and i'm off to new orleans. allison is here and ready for avery duty! hopefully these pictures can get you all through the weekend until i return with avery's 9 month photos!!!

happy monday! the weather was so nice this weekend! it's finally back to normal temperatures and in the high 70's. we layed by the pool yesterday and got some sun and went on a walk in the evening in shorts and t-shirts it was perfect! the weekend was spent with a lot of family too! saturday night my cousins came over and sunday we went to lunch with some of mark's family. as we were walking in the restaurant we saw my cousin who was in town for spring break. we're planning on seeing her this afternoon so she can play with avery! we have a super busy week ahead and AUNT ALLISON is coming tomorrow! We are all so excited to see her! :) saturday morning i went to a baby shower and had mark take a couple of pictures of me and the sweet pea before i left...how did i get so lucky?

ah she's just so cute! you can't see her shirt but it says "mommy's dream come true". mimi sent it to us and i love it! daddy said she is her dream come true too! :)
