avery got a new car seat!!!! she's still rear facing but this one goes both ways. she was so excited when we got it she just sat in it in the house. although, it's still not in my car because i'm going for a fresh start and going to get all the junk (aka cheerios, cheezits, milk, puffs, etc.) out of car first! and i might have ordered her a little potty in the excitement of online shopping. but, there was so shipping so it was a great deal! :)

so, for some reason i keep thinking she feels warm and of course she's always fine :) but, she loves when i put the thermometer in her ear. which is nice because now she likes when the dr puts things in her ears too! i think though, maybe i should stop. :)

that's you!!! i have the hardest time deciding which pictures i wanted to put on the photography blog. but, here it's a free for all! i am looking for new places to take pictures so i took avery to this "field" in katy. definitely a great place but bringing props or something to sit on it a must! :) normally i would pick just a few to share but i didn't feel like thinking that much. warning: picture overload. did i not put some on the photo blog that should be on there?

if you're like most people (including mark) you probably just turn the music off or pause it. but, if you're me (the person who chose the songs) you listen to them everyday. when i add a song, sometimes it's my favorite at the moment or sometimes i really connect with it, which is the case for in my daughter's eyes. because i can't explain how i feel when she holds her hand up because she wants me to grab it. when we walk around holding hands. or when she's upset and puts her arm all the way around my neck and holds on tight. i don't know what i did to deserve that. i'm almost certain some days i tell her everything she can't do instead of what she can. yet, it doesn't matter what kind of day we had or that i just got mad at her she still wants me to hold her. but, i know this is going to stop someday and she is going to be able to reason. if you watch the biggest loser a lot of the contestants always talk about how they want their kids to want to be like them. it's different from what tv's shows say because their always saying "i don't want you to be like me". but deep down, i think every parent wants to be that roll model and wants your kids to want to be like you. i know i do.

just because i've been taking pictures of other kids doesn't mean i haven't been taking pictures of avery :)

let's start with avery's love for big sonic drinks. **sigh** bad mommy, i know. she picked it up and was carrying it around. she was drinking a little but i thought, hey it's caffeine free so it's not all that bad. bad mommy. now when she see's a cup she wants it. so now everywhere i go i order a small water. luckily she doesn't care what's in the cup :) and no, i didn't pose her with the cup.

now, for a little saturday morning love. she's so happy when she's outside.

and in between the new found temper tantrums and outbursts there is still a sweet little girl. to put her to bed i just turn off the lights and she puts her head down on my shoulder. it's probably one of my most favorite times of the day. she puts her left arm all the way around my neck. tonight she lifted her head and her lips found my lips and she gave me a kiss. then she put her head down and lifted it again to give me another kiss. after watching her throw herself on the ground and roll over on the floor while trying to cook dinner tonight it was a nice reminder that she's a sweet little girl. i wish i could take credit for that. ;)

this outfit came from aunt jerry when she was born. i've been holding on to it and it's finally the perfect weather to wear it, and it fits! i can't get enough of it!

after the photo shoot the kids had a play session. here's my little "assistant" :)

her sweetness sometimes is too much to handle! today she was chasing her little friend around trying to give him a hug. but, she also had a naughty side. her new thing is to put everything in the trash can. i've found my cell phone among other things in there. the other day after searching for 35 minutes for my keys i knew i had to dig through the trash. sure enough, there they are, at the bottom. note to self: always shut pantry door!
